A clever and easily replicatable glitch that allows you to use more than three alphanumerical characters in your Clan Tag for use in Xbox Live Multiplayer in the Xbox 360 video game Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

PLEASE NOTE: This is confirmed to only work in the Xbox 360 version of the game.

TUTORIAL:

1. From the "Main Menu" of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on the Xbox 360 go to "Store" and highlight any of the options that has a green square next to the DLC item.

2. Press the "Y" button to "ENTER CODE" and instead of entering a DLC code, enter in a "Clan Tag". The "Clan Tag" must be letters and/or numbers and cannot have any spaces. You cannot use characters or symbols.

3. Once you have completed your "Clan Tag" select "Done" on the keyboard to confirm the code and wait for the popup stating that the code was not valid. Press the "B" button to "Cancel" and then back out to the "Main Menu".

4. Now, go to "Multiplayer" and then click on "Play with Friends".

5. Press the "Start" button to get to the "ENTER CLAN TAG" section and when the keyboard pops up press the "X" button and then the "Start" button again.

6. If you have followed this tutorial properly then you will have a custom and extended "clan tag" in the Xbox 360 version of Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

TIP(S):

1. Using upper and lowercase letters can help to make your clan tag a bit easier to read.

2. The custom clan tag will remain as long as you continue to play the game. However, your clan tag will reset to the first three characters you chose if you quit to the dashboard or turn off your Xbox 360. So you'll have to redo the glitch everytime you go back to playing the game.

3. You can have an extremely long clan tag, but there is a cap on how many letters and/or numbers you can use.

4. If you make your clan tag really long, it'll actually push your gamertag off the scoreboard and squad member screens in game and in the game lobby. However, if you die, are killed, or kill someone, your gamertag can still be seen.

Have the custom background "theme" image from the Fable III custom section of the Xbox 360 remain on your Xbox 360 dashboard even while you are signed out of a gamertag.

TUTORIAL:

Have unlimited "DASH" ability without draining it's power and have an additional SUPER "DASH" while playing as an Assasin in the Xbox 360 Xbox Live Arcade game Monday Night Combat.

PLEASE NOTE: None of the footage in this video has been sped up or fast forwared. This can CLEARLY be confirmed by watching the movements of the other players/bots, listening for the announcer's voice, as well as the clock countdowns seen during the footage. This is NOT a trick, it's an actual glitch that works. Go try it out for yourself if you REALLY don't believe us.

Regarding the Choppy Fooage (Framerate Issues) during 0:50 to 1:35 this is NOT a result of the Capture Device having problems as the game was also like this on our tv while we played. It was most likely either from a temporary bad connection to the host of the game and/or from us doing a SUPER DUPER DASH that occasionally happens which makes you move insanely fast, that is faster than what normally happens with this glitch. It's also possible that the game simply could NOT keep up with our character moving that fast. Regardless, the framerate issues resolved itself as soon as we took some damage, which NORMALLY turns off the glitch, although that time is just slowed us down to the speed of a normal DASH.

TUTORIAL:

1. You CANNOT be the "Connection Host" of the game.

2. While playing as the "Assasin" rapidly press the "X" button while running back and forth slightly.

3. If you see yourself moving faster as you go back and forth, STOP pressing the "X" button and see if you can "DASH" without holding down the "X" button.

4. If done correctly, whenever you move you will be doing the "DASH" ability WITHOUT having to press and hold the "X" button. You also WON'T expending any of it's ability meter (you won't drain the power).

5. If you are running around and then press and hold the "X" button you will MOVE EVEN FASTER than a normal "DASH".

TIP(S):

1. If you have a Turbo Programmable Xbox 360 controller that lets you program the "X" button to the Turbo Speed you can "DASH" even faster using this glitch.

2. In order to move faster than manually press the "X" button you have program the "X" button to the FASTEST turbo speed available on your controller and follow the tutorial as usual.

3. One you get the glitch to work, turn off the TURBO on the "X" button so you can use the "DASH" ability to go even faster. For whatever reason, activating this glitch with a Turbo Controller seems to make you go faster.

4. It get be EXTREMELY difficult to make turns are run around when you are running really fast. Especially if you are holding down the "X" button to move even faster. This takes some getting use to!

5. Sometimes, you may have a SUPER DUPER DASH that causes the game to lag and/or drop frames. This can get resolved it you take some damage from an enemy.

RESTRICTIONS:

1. You cannot be "Connection Host" and do this glitch.

2. Since you cannot be "Connection Host", you cannot do this glitch in a Local Game.

3. Works in ALL Blitz modes as well as Crossfire on Xbox Live, as long as you are NOT "Connection Host".

4. This glitch may turn off if you stand still for too long or get shot up a bunch.

5. Obviously, you will have to REDO the glitch if you die.

Temporarily trick your Xbox 360 into letting you access foreign content while still using your main Xbox Live Gamertag.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. You need an existing xbox Live gamertag, whichever one that you use regularly and another gamertag that is region locked to another country.

HOW TO CREATE A FOREIGN GAMERTAG:

1. You can do this by registering as living in a foreign country when signing up for a LIVE or HOTMAIL email address as well as when you register a NEW gamertag.

2. You'll want to have a city name and a zip (postal) code for the country of your choice when signing up for these accounts.

HOW TO TRICK YOUR XBOX 360 REGION:

1. Set the FOREIGN Gamertag to Auto Sign-in from the Profile Settings.

2. Turn off your Xbox 360 and then turn it back on.

3. As soon as you get to the dashboard, but before it loads any content, press the Guide Button twice so that it pops up and then sign into your MAIN Gamertag.

4. The Xbox 360 will first sign into the FOREIGN Gamertag and then will immediately sign into your MAIN Gamertag.

5. You now how access to the region specific content of the FOREGIN gamertag's country while logged into your MAIN Gamertag.

6. If you load up content and then quit to the dashboard, you'll regain your normal region specific dashboard content.

WHY WOULD I WANT TO DO THIS?

1. Perhaps you want to have access to specific Xbox 360 content that is only available in another country or region but still want to be signed into your own gamertag that you normally use.

2. You might want to purchase region specific content, but you only have Microsoft Points on your MAIN Gamertag and NONE on your FOREIGN Gamertag.

3. As well as for other content such as, NETFLIX Instant Streaming, SKY PLAYER, exclusive demos, gamer pictures, games, themes, as well as region specific ZUNE content (Movies, TV series, Music Videos, etc). In addition to any other promotional content that you want want to view or utilize while signed into your MAIN Gamertag.

4. If you live outside the United Kingdom, you can do this glitch with a UK gamertag to gain access to the Sky Player on your Xbox 360 without being signed into a NEW "Silver" gametag you would not use otherwise.

NETFLIX and SKY PLAYER:

1. Netflix Streaming requires a "Gold" Xbox 360 gamer profile with authorized access to an existing Netflix Streaming capable account.

2. Sky Player lets you watch "Sky News" for free, but requires an additional monthly membership and/or an existing SkyTV account to view premium content.

Destination Arcade is currently restricted to gamertags assigned to the United States / North America. You'll have to create a gamertag that is assigned to the United States and then log into that profile to access and download "Destination Arcade" from either the dashboard or xbox.com.

WHERE DO I FIND DESTINATION ARCADE ON THE DASHBOARD?

1. Click on the "Limbo" or any other "Summer of Arcade 2010" game box.

2. Go to "Special Offer and More" and then click on the "Destination Arcade" box.

HOW DO I UNLOCK THE TWO AVATAR AWARDS?

1. The hoodie automatically unlocks when you start up Destination Arcade.

2. The pet dragon is unlocked when you highlight "Altered Beast".

3. To find "Altered Beast" go to "Find Games" and then to "All Games". Then to "Show All Games" and click on the "A" list and scroll over until you reach "Altered Beast".

HOW DO I USE THE AVATAR AWARDS?

1. Go to the "Edit Profile" option and choose "Avatar" and click on the "Awards" section and then click on the "D" icon.
